Apple Pie Filling Recipe
* 5 to 8 Peeled Apples (Granny Smith or Braeburn)
* 1 Cup Sugar
* 2 Tablespoons Flour
* 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
* 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
* 1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar
* 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1. Peel and slice your apples. Start by cutting the apple in half to
remove the core, seeds, blossom end, and stem.
2. Soak your apples in a bowl of water with a tablespoon of lemon juice.
The lemon juice helps to keep your apples from turning brown.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the following:
* 1 Cup Sugar
* 2 Tablespoons Flour
* 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
* 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
* 1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar
4. Drain the water off of the apple slices and mix them with the spices
from step 3.
5. Now that you have finished the filling, it is time to assemble your
pie.
